FESTIVAL GUIDELINES????
You mean guidelines, not rules?
I bet that means all these "guidelines" are not valid by law
and the city of Tempe is trying to make you think that
you have to obey these silly guidelines?
If they were laws or rules the city of Tempe would simply
post a sign that said break these rules you go to jail
per ARS law xxx or Tempe City Code xxx.
I bet they are GUIDELINES and not LAWS!
Hmmm... No squatters allowed at the Tempe Festival of the Arts? Wonder what squatters are? Perhaps poor people with out money? Perhaps homeless people? No gang colors allowed at the Tempe Festival of the Arts? Wonder what the city of Tempe means by gang colors? I bet that is a code word to mean "No Mexicans or people with brown skin"? The city of Tempe has a long history of racism. No weapons allowed at the Tempe Festival of the Arts? I know what that means! The 2nd Amendment is null and void in the People's Republic of Tempe! The tyrannts that rule Tempe have a long history of flushing Constitutional rights down the toilet and this includes the right to keep and bear arms. No unofficial vendors allowed at the Tempe Festival of the Arts? I know what that means! If you are not a vendor that has paid the city of Tempe money to sell stuff at the fair your not welcome. Even if it is public property and you normally have the right to sell stuff. The city of Tempe doesn't want you competing with the people that paid them money and is flushing your Constitutional rights down the toilet. M.A.M.A vs DTCBack in the old days M.A.M.A, MAMA, or Mill Avenue Merchants Association used to put on the Tempe Festival of the Arts.M.A.M.A, MAMA, or Mill Avenue Merchants Association had over a million dollars worth of unpaid bills to the city of Tempe for police services and other expenses related to putting on the Tempe Festival of Arts. So instead of sueing M.A.M.A, MAMA, or Mill Avenue Merchants Association and forcing them to pay their bills and in all probablity go bankrupt the city of Tempe did a switcharuu!! The started having DTC, D.T.C. or the Downtown Tempe Community put on the Tempe Festival of the Arts. Of course M.A.M.A. still owes a boatload of money to the city of Tempe but the festival will continue. |
