1. Attended 10/23/2008 : Dr. Robert Snyder, Frank Rickey, Mark Sorhdal, Ed Stroup, Olga Strickland, Russ & Margot Wittenberg, Donna Hancock, Tim Gustafson, Mary Lou Benigno, Renee Houlihan, Chris Broughton, Craig Nelson, Noreen Rink, Thala Rolnick CPA, Geri Seckinger, Bill & Barb Blewster, Bill Searle, John & Viola Kizis, Howard Crowe, Vicki Allison, Rich Woods, Pat Schwind, & our candidates: Judah Nativio, Ernie Hancock, Michael Shoen, Powell Gammill, Cecil Ash, Rebecca Schneider, & William Crum.

2. If you missed this 'Open Candidate Forum', you missed some seriously "heated conversation", & a TON o' FUN! I'm not even gonna try to cover any of the details. I had to leave ~ 11am, & there were still some folks left, "hashin' it out"! I can't even take the space to identify the races & parties; we had congressional, as well as Az. State legislative & exec. candidates, representing the Dems, Greens, Libertarians & the GOP. It was a civil, but pretty much 'wide open', "Q&A", with me as moderator. We covered an extremely wide array of topics re: local, state, national & global issues. Here's just a sample: Estate, Capital Gains, Consumption, 'Value Added' & Alt. Minimum taxes; And what is "fair taxation" anyway ? Government transparency & the "proper role" of government. Should our Constitution be held sacrosanct from attack, or is it a fundamentally flawed document more suited for a society of artisans, craftsmen & agrarian workers, but simply "out of date" after centuries of supposed 'progress'? Is ACORN trying to steal the election, or is that just a Republican 'red herring', simply designed to divert attention from the "wholesale hijacking" of many recent elections by the GOP dirty-tricksters? Should the FED be abolished or simply reformed? And is the 'Gold Standard' the way to go? Is our nation about to descend into Anarchy, with roving hoards simply searching for food? Is that just a symptom of our slow slide to being a 'Third World Nation'? Is Arizona's "Majority Rule" proposition an admirable attempt to balance our budget, or just another "starve the beast" attack on gov't, by the Right Wing Lunatic Fringe, who usually believe in lots of war & prisons, but want to kill any idea that might help the middle & lower classes? Should taxpayers even be obliged to pay for public education, or should we go back to the 'good of' days' of child labor, 'sweat shops' & no labor unions? I really wish I had the space to go into more detail, but I have to make a couple of comments; please see V below.

So I want some specific names & #'s, of local "experts", who aren't afraid to "take a stand" & defend it. Especially on the subjects of "sexual preference" & the War on Drugs. Please call me!
